Before stepping into HR, Clarice owned and ran her own small business — an experience that still shapes how she advises clients today, having lived firsthand the resource constraints and high-stakes decisions small business owners face. She went on to build 22+ years of senior HR leadership, most recently as SVP/CHRO in large-scale steel manufacturing, with experience spanning multi-site organizations across multiple states and countries throughout North and South America.

Her background runs equally deep in logistics and distribution, having spent nearly 15 years leading HR for large and complex organizations where transportation and logistics were critical for delivering on customer contract obligations. She is well-versed in the unique challenges these companies face, including loading and scheduling, safety concerns, insurance requirements, as well as DOT and other regulatory compliance issues.

She and her team work with businesses that are growing, in transition, or running lean on internal HR resources — bringing the same executive judgment to a small business whose owner may wear many hats, or a fast-scaling company, as she does to a PE-backed carve-out or plant startup.

Having earned her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification working projects on the plant floor, Clarice understands the cadence and intricacies of operations — and how HR practices can make a very real impact on business outcomes.
